MOLOKA'I RETREAT FACILITATORS

Your Moloka’i Retreat Facilitators are
Kim and Larry Liebling. Kim and Larry have been
traveling to Moloka’i for over 10 years. Kim was
“called” first to the island, which turned
into a chance meeting with a local native where an instant
bond developed. The native people are very private and
tend to isolate themselves from the outside world, and
yet they adopted Kim and Larry into their
family of over 290 people. Through the years the special
bonds with family and friends have continued to grow
as well as the treasured sharing of ancient culture
and traditions. |
Kim, the creator of Infinite Possibilities, is a Life Transformation Coach and assists individuals in balancing their mental, emotional, spiritual and physical bodies for healing on all levels. Kim is a certified Complementary Medicine Specialist and teaches meditation, yoga, and personal awareness classes. Larry is a student of the Kabbalah and successful Success Strategist. As the founder of InnerGames, Larry combines his skills in the personal and business worlds to assist individuals in discovering their personal meaning of success while achieving their ultimate life purpose. Both are trained in Hawaiian Huna, the ancient wisdom of Hawaii, and are NLP Master Practitioners experienced in the study of communication and behavioral change.
Kim and Larry are blessed to have family and
friends on the island willing to open their hearts and
share their wisdom with the Mystical Moloka'i Retreat
groups. It is with honor and respect that they travel
to this mystical island to give and share in the true
essence of Aloha.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your
journey begins on Saturday as you arrive onto the island.
As you fly in to this mystical island, you may see from
the air the spectacular and tallest sea cliffs in the
world, or Hawaii’s longest white sand beach, and
the sheer beauty of this lush island in the center of
it all. You will be greeted at the airport as you arrive.
No worries about getting lost at the airport… you’ll
see us waiting in the open-air baggage claim as you walk
off the plane! If you’ve chosen to arrive earlier,
just let us know and we’ll pick you up at your hotel.
After collecting your luggage from the baggage claim area,
you'll be driven to your Hawaiian home for the week. Our
accommodations are lovely ocean front homes we
will share as Ohana, as "family"…
living truly Hawaiian style. The first rule of Hawaiian
style living is to leave your slippahs in da pile at
the door. |
| You’ll
be immediately entranced at the beauty as you step
onto the lanai (patio) and take in the beauty of the
wondrous ocean, smelling the clean, fresh air, and listening
to the gentle waves as they break at the reef and at the
shore. |

Slip into
some comfortable clothes, kick off your shoes, and
step off the lanai onto the beach… the beach
in your own backyard. Be adventurous and take
a swim or walk the beach as we immerse into
the culture, the aina (the land), and be welcomed.

Your week long adventure will
be blessed with many opportunities for learning, sharing,
growing and miracles.

Learning
ancient techniques, traditions, legends and talking story
with Kumus (teachers), and Kupuna (elders), and our Hawaiian
Ohana (family).

Journey
to the original landing site of the first inhabitants
of Moloka’i, rich with mana, with over 20 sacred
heiaus (temples) and where many powerful Kahunas originated.
|
|
|
Experiencing
the vibrational tone of the ancient Hawaiian chant.

Taking
a trip through the treasured tree groves where delicious
Macadamia nuts are grown and harvested.

Experiencing
the energy and power in ancient ceremonies and rituals.

To sustain us during our adventure,
we’ll be nourished and filled with local Hawaiian food
prepared with lots of mana by our wonderful Auntie. One
of the first words to learn is “pau” which mean “done”,
because the food is seemingly never-ending and you’ll be

Moloka'i… This mystical, small island situated
directly in the center of the primary chain of Hawaiian
Islands, has the largest percentage of native Hawaiian
residents in the state. About 7000 people call this island
home with an estimated 2500 having 50% or more Hawaiian
blood. It's a land where time slows down, where the clock
seems to tick much slower than "normal". It's
a land that the world has left behind, where there is
no traffic, where there are no traffic lights, where the
closest thing to a traffic jam is 2 trucks stopped in
the middle of the 2 lane road talking story. |
Moloka'i is approximately
11 miles wide by 37 miles long, and is about 2 million
years old. It is home to a virtual treasure chest
of sacred places, natural gifts, and mysticism unspoiled
by tourism. From the longest white sand beach in
Hawaii, to the tallest sea cliffs in the world,
to the only barrier reef north of Australia, to
the Kalaupapa Colony for sufferers of Hansen's
Disease (leprosy), her beauty is outstanding.
Adding to those, her black sand beaches, her rainforest,
her ancient heiaus (temples), her fishponds, her
nighttime sky filled with millions of stars, her
sunrises and sunsets, you'll be immersed in the
aina (the land) and breathing in the culture.

Moloka'i's positioning
in the center of the Islands directly correlates
with the primary energy center (chakra) in the center
of our body… the heart chakra. Moloka'i thus
possesses a strong, uniquely warm spirit of Aloha
for those whom the island embraces. A comfortable
